Unique opportunity to discover Poznań during Saint Martin's Day celebrations! In Poznań, November 11th - Polish Independence Day - takes on a very special form. One of Poznan's main streets - Święty Marcin Street - celebrates its name day.  A colorful parade merrily rolls through the city, with both locals and many tourists enjoying the world famous Saint Martin’s Croissants.
Only on St Martin’s day (November 11th), Poznań natives and the many tourists eat around 250 tones of croissants - that is about 1.25 million individual pastries! We’ll invite you to celebrate this exceptional holidays!  
In the meantime there is no better occasion to visit the Saint Martin Croissant Museum. In this terrific place you can find out more about the legend, making process and you are free to participate in the preparation yourself. In the end there is a tasting.
What’s more? In the program you’ll find Poznań Congress Center - modern congress, exhibition and entertainment centre, the youngest castle in Europe with its event potential and you’ll eat dinner in a renovated former 19th century printing house. You’ll also discover the beginnings of Poland in Cathedral Island and be able to see the former (cold war era) fallout shelter of the Mayor of Poznań.
