Why LODZ ?

Lodz Convention Bureau together with the member companies of the Lodz Tourism Organization invite you to the city of Lodz for a photographic trip. During the tour, we will create a photo-chronicle of a city that takes actions aimed at sustainable development. By preserving the post-industrial heritage and history of the city of 4 cultures, authorities and citizens are building their new future in which the tourism industry plays a significant role. During the entire event, we will be accompanied by a professional photographer, and the places visited will be exceptionally photogenic.

Day 1 - Wednesday, Nov.9, 2022 Green Lodz
Arrival by train (preferred)
Transfer by a historic tram
Check-in at the hotel
Visiting the ZOO
Dinner at the Orientarium, the new part of the Lodz ZOO

Day 2 - Thursday, Nov.10, 2022 Post-industrial Lodz
Lunch at Ksiezy Mlyn – historic residential district
Visiting EC1 - former power plant, now a science museum
Lunch in Monopolis – former spirit distillery, now a mixed-use complex
Visiting Manufaktura – historic factory complex, now entertainment and shopping center
Visiting the construction of a cross-city tunnel under the city
Dinner at a Polish restaurant

Day 3 - Friday, Nov.11,2022 Shots of Independence Day
Breakfast in Polish style
City game „Sztos Fota” - a course in mobile photography
Culinary studio - workshops of local dishes
Lunch during the workshop
Jewish songs concert
Dinner at a Jewish restaurant

Day 4 - Saturday, Nov.12, 2022 Large-format farewell  
A goodbye city tour via murals and street art
Departure to Warsaw airport by train
